Though the true Christian faith has been facing a decline for some time, False Cults are having a great time everywhere. The decline of Christian thinking always opens up doors for teachings that are false.
The other day a "Christian" asked me what was wrong with the idea that there is the same Holy Spirit Inspired doctrine in books of other religions as it is there in the Bible. If you do not know the answer, then there is cause for alarm!

Yes, I can and do agree on the points you raise, and my concern has been primarily on your first sentence; and I have asked myself the reasons why the decline has happened and if the reasons are similar to why the relinquished interest in a meaningful Christian and Bible-inspired life and teaching slipped away from us.
My immediate thought has to reflect a hope. The dynamic, vibrant, and life-changing gospel of truth and liberty is still the message of the living Lord who does lead us forward in the midst of degeneration of the whole truth. Perhaps the cultists appeal with a small nugget or resemblance of the true nature and natural justness sought and people by reason of complacency feel it easier to believe than to understand.
My faith rests secure in the knowledge and look for the promise in sharing my belief in Jesus Christ. The message of cultists often attaches the emptiness in the ability to secure the desires in material, where Jesus spoke to a level in the human to examine all the reasons for our wants in the first place. Then, having received the spiritual blessings, the material becomes secondary.
I trust this is somewhat beneficial to the reader.

The decline has been as a result of having observed the worldliness of the PG. Of course cults have a natural attractiveness because human nature is oppossed to God’s truth. The only way we can hold onto Biblical truth is through the power of the Holy Spirit.
